Bratislava Capitals Hold Strategic Planning Meetings Ahead of 2026–2027 Season
Bratislava, Slovakia — The hockey operations and coaching staff of the Bratislava Capitals have concluded a series of meetings over the past several days as preparations intensify for the 2026–2027 season.
The sessions focused on roster construction, player development planning, recruiting strategy, academic coordination, and long-term program growth. With the organization continuing to establish itself as a leader in European college hockey, leadership emphasized building a competitive, disciplined, and development-driven environment both on and off the ice.
In addition to internal hockey operations meetings, Capitals representatives met with admissions and student support staff from VSM City U Seattle. Discussions centered on streamlining admissions processes, enhancing academic support systems for student-athletes, and ensuring a strong alignment between athletic and university objectives.
As the university’s only official sports team, the Bratislava Capitals play a central role in campus life and institutional identity. University administrators and students alike expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming season and the continued growth of the program.
