Karol Fako Named Head Coach Of Bratislava Capitals

Bratislava, Slovakia — The Bratislava Capitals today announced the appointment of Karol Fako as Head Coach of the program, effective immediately.

Karol Fako brings a strong background in European hockey, with experience in player development, team structure, and modern coaching methodologies. Well respected within the Slovak hockey community, Fako has worked closely with developing athletes at multiple levels and is known for his disciplined, professional approach both on and off the ice.  A product of HC Slovan Bratislava, Coach Fako is well known and respected in the Bratislava hockey community.

“Karol is the right leader for our program at this moment,” said Joseph Kolodziej Director of Hockey Operations. “He understands our vision, our commitment to development, and the balance we strive to provide between academics and elite hockey. We are confident he will guide our players and staff with clarity and purpose.”

Fako will immediately begin overseeing all hockey training and tactics, including line combinations, staff coordination, and preparation for the upcoming season. The Bratislava Capitals remain fully committed to providing a world-class development environment for student-athletes competing in Europe while pursuing an American-accredited education.
