VSM BRATISLAVA CAPITALS ANNOUNCE COMMITMENT OF TATE WARWARICK FOR 2026–2027 EUCHL SEASON

The VSM Bratislava Capitals are pleased to announce that forward Tate Warwarick has committed to join the Capitals for the 2026–2027 European Union College Hockey League (EUCHL) season.

The 2005-born Canadian forward, a native of Beaumont, Alberta, brings several seasons of junior hockey experience to Bratislava. Elite Prospects lists Warwarick at 5-foot-10 and 154 pounds and identifies him as a forward.

Warwarick is coming off an impressive 2025–2026 season with the Beaumont Chiefs of the Capital Junior Hockey League (CapJHL). He recorded 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points in 45 regular-season games, ranking third on the Chiefs in scoring. He also accumulated 56 penalty minutes.

The season continued a productive stretch for Warwarick. During the previous season, he recorded 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points in 38 games, giving him 62 points in 83 regular-season games over his two most recent seasons.

“We're very excited to have Tate joining the Capitals,” said the VSM Bratislava coaching staff. “He has demonstrated that he can contribute offensively while playing with the physical edge and competitiveness that we want in our lineup. His experience and maturity will be valuable as we enter our first EUCHL season.”

Warwarick's commitment adds another experienced Canadian player to a Capitals roster being assembled for the inaugural EUCHL campaign.

For Warwarick, the move to Bratislava represents an opportunity to continue his hockey career while pursuing a university education and experiencing life in Europe.

“Tate is exactly the type of player we were looking for,” the Capitals organization said. “He has worked his way through junior hockey, continued to produce, and now has an opportunity to take the next step in his development. We're looking forward to seeing what he can accomplish in Bratislava.”

The VSM Bratislava Capitals will compete in the 2026–2027 EUCHL season, combining collegiate hockey with university education through VSM Bratislava.

Welcome to Bratislava, Tate Warwarick!
